NEW WORK PLACEMENT PROGRAM FOR GRADUATES
What's new in makeup courses? Sydney makeup Academy TAFMUA has introduced a work placement program for students that graduate from the Advanced Certificate In Makeup and the Diploma of Applied Makeup.
Owner and founder of The Academy For Makeup Artists Candice Tabone says 'so many students graduate from makeup courses without any real direction on how to get work and build their network of creatives. Right from the start I wanted to make sure that all of my graduating students were able to do paid work as soon as they finished their studies. Introducing a work placement program seemed the obvious thing to do to help emerging makeup artists get started.'
TAFMUA has a very wide reaching network of professional photographers, makeup artists, fashion designers, film schools, TV producers, film directors, HR personnel and agencies that frequently require makeup artists for work. In addition to this they are also very proactive in finding work for their students and currently have several of their graduates working freelance for the luxury mobile beauty businesses www.luxit.me and www.beautycoterie.uk
Also the only makeup school to provide four free refresher makeup classes to students that have graduated TAFMUA is certainly proving to be the standout makeup academy in Sydney.
