Terms and Conditions 

 

1. A non- refundable full course fee payment is required upfront to confirm your position within the course.

2. Payment of course fees can be made by cash, credit card, paypal or electronic funds transfer and branch deposit. The Academy For Makeup Artists Pty Ltd does not accept cheques or money orders. 

3. There is no refund for course fees paid, it is the policy of The Academy For Makeup Artists Pty Ltd to NOT issue refunds for any course fees paid. The enrolled student/financier acknowledges that these arrangements are reasonable having regard to the difficulties of enrolling cancelled places at such short notice and the significant costs incurred administering cancelled enrolments. 

4. If an enrolled student who is unable to commence a course of study for which they have enrolled wishes to undertake that course in the future then the enrolled student must give The Academy For Makeup Artists Pty Ltd at least 14 days notice from the commencement date of the course they were enrolled in . All fees paid will be forfeited by the enrolled student/financier unless 14 days notice is given to The Academy For Makeup Artists Pty Ltd.

5. Any fees paid to The Academy For Makeup Artists Pty Ltd may be transferable at the discretion of The Academy For Makeup Artists Pty Ltd.

6. The Academy For Makeup Artists Pty Ltd reserves the right to cancel, postpone or reschedule courses at the discretion of the Director. 

7. If the total class number is less than a minimum of 6 students, the class may be cancelled, postponed or rescheduled at the discretion of the Director.

8. In the event a class is cancelled, students will be offered a refund or alternatively a transfer to an alternate course.

9. The Academy For Makeup Artists Pty Ltd reserves the right to change course delivery structure and the advertised location of courses. 

10. Upon enrolment students are required to commit to and attend all scheduled hours to qualify for a certificate or diploma from The Academy For Makeup Artists Pty Ltd.

11. The student agrees to let The Academy For Makeup Artists Pty Ltd use any images created during course time for promotional purposes.

12. Payments by instalments will be debited on the dates agreed upon and set out in the payment schedule unless a new arrangement is made and approved by the Director.

13. Once enrolment is confirmed all payment plan instalments are due whether the student attends class or not.  Students that cant finish the course will be offered to enrol in the next intake however all payments will be due on the dates in the original agreement and relative to their first enrolment. 14. Certificates will only be given to students on a payment plan if the payments are on time. Students that are late in paying their instalments will only be given their certificates when the final payment is made.

15. Students on a payment plan can payout their fees at any time without penalty and receive 5% off the remaining balance.

16. Complaints must be put in writing to our student services manager at work@tafmua.com.au

17. The mentor program is an additional fee to course fees but not compulsory.

18. Special guest tutors are invited to teach subject to their availability. If we advertise a particular artist and they then become unavailable we will replace them with another artist of the same calibre. 

19. Re-issue of certificates is $25
