MOST FUN I'VE EVER HAD!! I had an incredible experience at the teen course! I learnt so much about makeup, the industry and how to start my career as a make up artist! I definitely recommend this course for teens who are interested in makeup, I know it definitely made me want to pursue a career in make up! Had an amazing day at TAFMUA completing the special FX make up course. I have also completed the bridal course and loved that too. Even as a make up artist myself I love learning new tricks and TAFMUA always teach me something I don't know. Carla is a great teacher!

Makeup Artists Career Course For Teens July 2015 Intake

I studied a teen course in July and I loved how the teacher was so supportive and how there would always be a positive energy, which made going through the theory a breeze. We were lucky enough to talk to a guest speaker, Michelle Gataric, and she spoke about her experiences to get to where she is right now. This really opened my eyes up to how much hard work and dedication needed to be put into a job in the beauty industry. There's a vast variety of quality cosmetic products to play around with for the practical bit of the course. Overall I would definitely recommend for someone wanting an experience with cosmetics and learning the basics.

Makeup Artists Career Course For Teens April 2015 Intake

Kellie had a wonderful time last week, enjoying every minute of the course.   She was so excited each night to tell us what she had learnt during the day.  After the first day learning about hygiene and makeup tools we were all made to clean our makeup brushes that night. Putting into practice what she had learnt during the day.   

Kellie is a visual learner and being able to see brush strokes and there direction made it much easier for her to practice these techniques on her model.  She has already used some of her new skills on her sister and a friend.  

She found the information about working in the industry very informative and has already expressed interest in attending an open day in May to look at furthering her studies. 

 

Many thanks for organising this course specifically for teens.  Having other students the same age was less daunting and I know that she was more relaxed and found it easier to learn in this supportive environment. She loved the small group size and took advantage of being able to ask Libby many questions. It was exactly what Kellie needed to help her decide the next step to take towards her future career.

I have to say Emily absolutely loved the course and could not stop talking about it. She has already got a list of cosmetics she wants to add to her makeup kit. Emily actually did a friends daughters makeup on Saturday for her 18th with lashes and all, I was so impressed with her job the girl looked gorgeous. Emily was also excited about the helpful tips on getting into the special effects side of things 

 

So all in all a massive two thumbs up from us.

Makeup Design Principles 2 Day Intensive November 2014 Intake

What a fantastic couple of days I had on the Makeup Design Principles 2 day Intensive!!. Carla was clear, encouraging, knowledgeable and very patient. She catered for all levels of experience. I was a newbie who now feels so much more confident in makeup application, others doing the course were at varying levels from practicing makeup artists to people wanting to add makeup skills to enhance their current work, such as photographers and life coaches. The equipment and products we used on the course were great quality and there was lots of variety. I loved all the invaluable tips we got about the industry and about building a business. It really exceeded expectations. Great bunch of creative people too and there was a bit of networking going on among the group which is fabulous. Well worth it. Thank you to Candice and Carla for such a professional, useful and enjoyable course I'll be back for the specialist workshops. Can't wait..

2.5 Hour Personal Makeup Masterclass November 23rd 2014

Thanks to TAFMUA for a wonderful Personal Make-up Master Class today! The facilities were awesome and I loved the teacher! She showed us amazing transformation techniques! There was a lot of material covered with very useful tips and concepts that I never knew existed and it left me hungry for more.

It has infused a lot of self confidence in me in applying my own make-up. I will definitely recommend it to all my friends and would be keen on doing a more in-depth '5 hour' class in near future!

Lastly thanks a lot for a take home gift and not to mention the Champagne and Chocolates! The whole experience was far above my money's worth!
