About Us

The Academy For Makeup Artists was born when professional makeup artist, qualified trainer and successful businesswoman Candice Tabone set out to provide the next generation of make up artists with the creative and business skills needed to pursue a career in their chosen field.

 

We engage some of the industry’s most experienced and insightful professionals as tutors and guest speakers for our makeup artist courses, so our students learn from the best. We are an NDIS registered provider and are very proud to call the Royal Australian Navy and Australian Medical Students Association clients.

 

About Candice

 

Candice is Managing Director of The Academy For Makeup Artists. A passionate, creative and entrepreneurial businesswoman, she brings a diverse set of creative, business and technology skills to the Academy.

Candice has a passion for education. She is a qualified trainer, with a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and develops relevant, engaging content for TAFMUA students and designs all of the course programs.

 

An engaging speaker, trainer and presenter, Candice was invited to be a guest panel member for the Small Business September ‘Man versus Machine’ debate (2010), a guest speaker on mobile for the Australian Direct Marketing Association’s (ADMA) digital course (2008) and was chosen to participate in the Mobile Enterprise Growth Alliance Program (MEGA).
