This year we are very excited to introduce our new Pro Artist Makeup Courses for professional makeup artists and graduates of makeup studies.
According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics there is an estimated 15,100 people currently employed as makeup artists across Australia - needless to say this is a very competitive field where successful makeup artists not only need to be skilled artists but also bloggers, vloggers, beauty experts and hairstylists!
Our two day Advanced Makeup Courses for pro artists have been designed to take your career to the next level and stand out from the crowd. Whether that be to get your work published, enter and win competitions or get agency representation our two day Pro Artist courses will teach you new skills and advanced techniques while also providing valuable feedback and industry pathways to success.
Delivered by some of Australia's leading professional makeup artists the TAFMUA Pro Makeup Artist courses will strengthen your creative style and get you more work.

According to a study by Oxford University students that attend evening studies reported an increase in self-confidence, a greater feeling of control over their lives and more willingness to take on new challenges. Many said that the classes broadened their networks of friends and gave them an increased sense of belonging.
The Academy For Makeup Artists in Alexandria currently delivers the Advanced Certificate In Makeup during the day and also in the evenings. With two intakes per year students have the option to fit their study schedule around work and other commitments whilst also learning life long skills and obtaining a qualification. Course Manager Cassy Delaney says 'it's often the younger students that are straight out of high school that study during the day with the evening courses having a mix of students wanting to up-skill or even change careers. We've had executive women and people in the medical field enrol in the evening courses as well as younger students that are holding down a full time job and paying for their studies'.
Delivered two evenings per week over 20 weeks the Advanced Certificate In Makeup night course also provides students with longer payment plan options.
