This course is suitable for students and makeup artists that want to learn more Special FX makeup techniques. The 4 day  course is perfect for students wanting to extend their skills and get more hands on experience in different areas of special FX makeup. On the last day of the course students design and apply makeup to their model and will be eligible for work experience in the area of Special FX.

Learning Outcomes

 

• Equipment and use. Bruises, grazes, cuts, blood, broken nose and black eyes. Use of colour and patch testing.

• Techniques for live injuries – car accident injuries, fight scenes and trauma

• Ageing with latex and tooth decay 

• Apply prosthetics - bullet holes, zombie bite

• Create a character by applying a prosthetic – use of materials to create a range of appearances and colour to complete the look.
